How to login your Router When Forgot Username and Password

If you have ever been in the position of needing to access your router, and you cannot remember your password or your username, then you will understand just how frustrating that situation can be. You might need to access your router for a number of different reasons, from port forwarding to changing your network ID. Just follow some easy steps below for the solution.
Mehtod 1:
Step 1: Click the START button at the bottom left corner of your computer screen.
Step 2: Search for Run and type cmd in Run and press Enter.
Step 3: A Command Prompt window will open up; type in ipconfig and press Enter.
Step 4: Look for your Default Gateway under Ethernet Adapter (Local Area Connection OR Wireless Connection). Now copy that address.
Step 5: Open your web browser and paste the address in the URL search bar and press Enter. You will now be asked for a Username and a Password
Step 6: Physically go to your Router and look on either the back/bottom of the device and locate Modem Access Code and write down the code.
Step 7: Go back to your web browser and now Enter the Modem Access Code you previously wrote down in the Password field.
Step 8: For the Username you can try the following: user, admin, 0000 or administrator.
Step 9: If it is not one of these default usernames, you can search for your Router make and model and default Username on Google. Once you have entered those details, you ‘should’ have gained access to your router.
Method 2:
But if, by any chance, you had changed your modem access username or password previously you can reset your router by putting a unfolded paperclip or needle or pin in the reset hole or button, that will be located on the side/back of your router. This will get the router's default settings i.e username and password.
