How to Enable/ Disable Firefox Update in Windows or Mobile
Now we to change the setting of firefox update in windows or mobile.
First go to the options from Firefox menu or Tools menu from Menu bar






Now Click on the Options. A new dialogue box will open.
Click on Advanced and choose update from sub menu



you can see the firefox update setting in the above figure. Now what to choose for enable or disable the update setting, it is clear. If you choose the first option, the firefox will automatically install updates and will be changed into newer version. 
How to do it manual update in Firefox:
If you check the box "warn me if will disable any of my addons", this will be also tricky. Firefox will tell you the addon status for the newer version.

Press OK to save setting.

Now, if you want to do it manually; firefox will find out the update any notify you to install updates or not, go to second option.

How to Disable firefox update:
And if you don't want to change the firefox to its newer or newest version, and want to keep the setting and version of firefox, choose the last one option.
 
Uncheck the both options and hit OK. This will permanently disable the firefox updates and you will be able to keep your version safe.
